KINGDOM CHURCH MOVES TO OLIVE AVENUE

Our Story

Kingdom Church launched in 2023 in Gilbert, Arizona, with a simple mission: Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. Led by Pastors Bryan and Lynette Durrett, Kingdom Church began with a faithful team and a shared desire to see a life-giving, Kingdom-minded church planted in the heart of the community. After more than 30 years of ministry and leadership experience, Bryan and Lynette followed God's call to step out in faith and build something new. From the beginning, we have been driven by a vision to see God's Kingdom at work in our community.

In January 2026, God opened an unexpected door when SonRise Assembly of God approached us about joining with Kingdom Church. Through this incredible opportunity, we were given the privilege of stewarding a church property that had already served the community for the previous 38 years.

What began as an unexpected conversation became a God timed opportunity, reminding us that He is faithfully directing every step of our story. This new home in the heart of Gilbert will allow us to expand our ministry, disciple more people, serve our community, and make a lasting Kingdom impact for generations to come.

At Kingdom Church, our heartbeat is Matthew 6:33:

"Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

That means everything we do, from worship to outreach, from discipleship to community engagement, is grounded in God's priorities. We are a church that values relationship over religion, truth over trends, and people over platforms.

You’ll find Kingdom Church to be a place where:

  • Faith is real

  • People are known and loved

  • Discipleship is intentional

  • Worship is passionate

  • Truth is spoken in love

And none of it happens without the incredible people who make up this church family: staff, volunteers, and friends who serve with joy, lead with humility, and believe that the local church is God’s plan to reach the world.

We’re just getting started, and we believe the best is yet to come!
